03 Sep New Scooter for the 2nd

COPS 2 recently helped the 2nd District purchase a new scooter, making a total of five scooters provided to the district since 2006. The 2nd District officers use the scooters to allow them quick and easy access in high-traffic areas to address crime, provide greater visibility and promote positive public relations. The scooters are used mainly in the areas of Magazine, Oak and Tchoupitoulas Streets.
