Citizens Organization for Police Support 2

In 1990, the Citizens Organization for Police Support 2 - COPS 2 -
became the first tax-exempt volunteer organization in New Orleans
dedicated to the support of police officers assigned to the Second District.

All dues and donations are used for programs and items designed
to enhance the working lives of our officers.


COPS 2 Mission Statement COPS 2 exists to provide support for the officers of the NOPD Second District. We accomplish this in three ways: Recognition: We express community appreciation for the officers who serve the Second District. Partnership: We work with Second District officers to determine ways to improve the quality of their working lives. Involvement: We strive to involve the larger Second District community to achieve our mission.
